The Deterioration of Health and English in Guatemala

We are Shana, Vira, and Elizabeth, three graduate students of International Affairs and Development from The New School University in New York.  We’re writing from our trip to Guatemala, where our primary aim is to improve our Spanish so that we may work in Argentina this summer.  Even though Vira will likely abandon us to work in Addis Ababa, where her Spanish will be fairly un-useful.  This page is mostly serving as a way to update our family and friends at home in one neat little space.
